This is my latest hybrid design; it was inspired by the super short single fins of the late 70’s. The Eggo has typical retro-fish rocker and volume with a beaked nose and full rails, but I’ve pulled in the tail and added a thruster set-up. Pulling the tail helps the board turn vertically and on the rail, more like a normal shortboard, while the full nose outline and low entry rocker allow this board to plane quickly making it a wave catching monster. The thruster set-up lets you push the tail harder for a solid feel with loads of drive. The bottom is flat with a bit of vee off the tail making it very fast and skatey.
Order this board 4"- 6" shorter, 1" - 1" 1/4 wider, and 1/8" thicker than your normal shortboard.
Available in thruster, quad, or 5 fin setup with FCS, Future, or glass on fins. All custom surfboards come with standard sanded finish. Color extra.
